Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions? We’ve got answers! Explore our FAQ section to find quick solutions and helpful information about our how to set up your boxes.
How many boxes come with each pack?
Most of our boxes are sold in packs of 25 where each pack will include 25 boxes of the same size and design.
Are the boxes glossy or have a matte finish?
All of our boxes have a matte finish to them (both the paper and inks) so they’re neither glossy nor metallic. The print on the boxes is similar to how
How soon can I get my boxes?
The free shipping option generally takes 2-weeks to receive your boxes. We also offer a 1-week rush upgrade which is available to purchase while checking out for your order.
Can I design the box myself?
Yes, most of our customers prefer to design the boxes using our online design tool.
Can my box be black, pink or another solid color?
Before printing, our boxes start out white on both the outside and inside. Your design is then printed directly onto the boxes using industrial inkjet printers. If you want a solid color on your mailer, we’ll print it on the specified sides you choose.
Can you match my colors
We do not offer color matching.
When printing your boxes, we try to reproduce your colors as we see them on the screen, however we don’t guarantee exact color matching. This is because color perception varies between viewers, and different devices display and print colors differently.
For example, the colors on your phone likely differ from those on your computer screen, TV, or personal printer. Therefore, it’s not possible to match colors precisely. Also we cannot ensure the same artwork files will print with consistent colors across multiple orders.
RGB colors, web colors (e.g., #FD7077), Pantone colors, and spot colors cannot be matched exactly. Instead, they will be converted to CMYK, which may alter their appearance.
What's the difference between Inside and Outside print
Generally the term “outside print” refers to the outside of the sheet of paper used to make your box. This includes printing your design on the six outside panels of the mailer. E.g. the top, bottom, front, back, left and right panels.
Additionally, outside print has the ability to print a design on the interior left and right panels of the mailers. You can also print a design on the covered front panel which is seen as the mailer is opened.
Likewise the term “inside print” refers to the inside of the sheet of paper used to make your box. So this includes printing your design on five of the interior panels of the mailer. E.g. the front interior, top interior, back interior, bottom interior and interior of the covered front panel.
Inside print does not include print on the interior left and interior right panels. Rather you will need to include “outside print” to print on those panels as they fold in from the outside when the mailer is folded up.
Can I see what they will look like before they print?
Yes, we’ll email a digital proof for you to review and approve before sending your mailers to the printers
Do you print in CMYK colors?
Indeed, our specialized printers print in CMYK with aqueous inks.
If you supply your image files in any other color format, they will be converted to CMYK before printing. Converting other colors such as RGB, Pantone, Spot Colors and HEX may result in a change of color thereafter.
Can you match HEX web colors (i.e. #123ABC)?
No, we do not currently offer color matching for web colors because they are meant for on-screen viewing and do not have a 1:1 print equivalent.
When you submit your artwork in web colors they are automatically converted to CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, black) colors. Colors will change when they are converted from web colors to CMYK, this is referred to as a color shift.
Which image files work best to print?
Vector image files (.EPS or .AI) print best. Raster image files (.JPG, .PNG, .TIF) also print well.
We recommend a resolution of 150 dpi or greater and at a size equal or greater than the largest panel on your box.
For example, with a 10x8x4 inch mailer, we recommend an image file of 10×8 inches (or larger) with a dpi of 150 or more.
